Fuel Lines, Power Cables And Other Hidden Hazards In many vehicles designers have used their imagination when routing fuel lines, power cables and other items. Some vehicles have fuel lines that run in the rocker panels. As battery locations move to the trunk and under the rear seat it is not unusual for power cables to run through the rocker panel and through other frame components. Great care should be taken when cutting and a charged water line or extinguisher should always be available and manned.
